The Kannondo is sacred to Nyoirin-Kannon as the patron saint which is sculptured
out of marble and it dedicated to another 4 Kannon Bodhisattva, too.
They will certainly have mercy on us who press our hands together in prayer
to worship them.
There are six Gigaku-ten's engravings in white wall which is beside of corridor between Kondo and Kannondo.
They welcome to you with playing Japanese-lute and dancing.
There is a stone which is engraved the letters of 自心佛(Ji-Shin-Butsu).
The letters are wrote by chief priest and it means that everybody has pure
soul in their mind.
But the letter of Butsu is hidden by front stone. It means that pure soul is certainly in our heart,
but it's too difficult for us to feel it by ourselves without practicing.
By the way, there are precious statues expect Kannon Bodhisattva.
At first, it is fudoumyouoh which is engraved on the glass. there is white wall of Kannondo.
And second, it is Juichimen kannon which is textile fabrics of Nishijin.
They are made by the most highest skill in Japan.
Lotus flower is symbol of Buddha's teaching and Kannon Bodhisattva.
There are many lotus flowers in places of Kannondo. For example it is painting
on the ceiling, and then it is engraving on the glass of the front door,
and it is sculptured on the pedestal.
