　　　　 Joint ceremony・conclusion of Freindship

 It was raining on the day before, but it stopped on the day. Wrapped in solemn atmosphere, 行道(=parade of Buddhist) started with rangging out the first sound of a trumpet shell. With 65 Believers of Seiryuji, and believers of 大華厳寺(Hwaeomsa) Joint ceremony was held by two temples.


We held Joint ceremony at 大華厳寺(Hwaeomsa) which has a long history and the largest cathedral in Korea. We confirmed that we contributed more positively after this to international propagation activity of Buddhism culture, learning Interchange of people, and study for Buddha's heart. And we concluded freindship. Continned from Germany, circle of contributing to society for coming true peace of world was widening.

大韓佛教曹渓宗　智異山大華厳寺

　縁起祖師 constructed 大華厳寺(Hwaeomsa) in the Paekche era. It places in the foot of 智異山. Name of temple is originating from 華厳経(Kegon-kyo). About 20 buildings and many important cultural asset are arranged in the ground and the temple is designated a histric site. When it was invated by Hideyoshi Toyotomi(1592-1598), all wooden buildings are burnt down, they were reconstructed in 1630 and completed in 1636. A stone lantern and a stone monument keep the shape of those days. It is the first temple in ten temples of the most important temple of Kegon and one of the five top of old temple in Korea.
