Pilgrimage to sacred places in India and Nepal 3

Jul.26 to Aug.6, 2003

@The Seiryuji corps made a pilgrimage mainly to Mecca of Oshaka-sama this time, where they couldn't visit 3 years ago.
Other places are Lumbini field, the birth place of Oshaka-sama ; The Kapilavastu castle site where he spent his life till he became a monk (an excavation has been carried out when the corps visited) ; Sarunato where he preached the first sermon to five monks ; and Kusinagara where he passed away.

@All of the 80 participants built merits through this pilgrimage.
@They were very captivated by a soft and beautiful sweep of the Kajuraho temple, one of the big three sculpted stone temples in India.
@Not only the pilgrimage to sacred places but also an opening ceremony of Seiryuji Nakazaki school was the important events to the corps members during the visit to India. This opening ceremony was the first school of Seiryuji. The ceremony was finished without any mishaps owing much to support and welcome from the people.
